UNIVERSITY PROJECTS

BGSU College of Technology, Architecture, and Applied Engineering Assistantship

In Fall 2020 I spent 9 weeks working with the BGSU CoTAAE under the university's marketing department to produce social media and inner college materials. In this position, I learned a lot about brand management, organization-wide standards, and working on tight deadlines.

Student Ambassador Spotlight

This campaign was created to share more information about the college’s student ambassadors with incoming students. The graphic for each student includes their name, major, year in school, words of advice, and a photo. These graphics were shared with new students, on TV monitors in the building, and via social media channels.

Tuesday Tips

Tuesday Tips was a concept developed by myself to help students make a strong transition back to campus following the COVID-19 lockdown. These tips were shared via social media and email channels.

Student Led Co-op Panel

The student led co-op panel is an event that was hosted for all students to ask questions to their peers about their co-op search and experience. Before this event I created marketing materials to promote it via print and digital channels. Following the event I developed an idea to share short clips of useful information to share via social media for students who were not able to attend.

Class Projects

The Nest Brand Campaign, 2018

The purpose of this assignment was to create a proposed brand campaign for a local business. I have a passion for non-profits and chose a local program that provides assistance for college students dealing with unplanned pregnancies.

The Nest provides childcare, parent assistance and mentoring, and full-fledged support for their families. The Nest prides itself on Christian values, but they are open to helping anyone with any belief. For this brand campaign, I chose to highlight the core values, with underlying natural elements that bode Christ's creations.

Frederick Douglass Community Association Rebrand, 2020

In my Design for Community Engagement course we worked with The Frederick Douglass Community Association to develop a new brand identity for their organization. Their goal was to garner more attention from the youth in their community to expand their impact.

My proposed logo and identity incorporated vibrant colors to grab attention, a close kerning in letters to emphasize a close-knit community, and a hidden smiling face to spark joy.
